UMWA holds its annual Labor Day Rally in Racine The United Mine Workers held their annual Labor Day Festivities in Racine despite the pouring rain. The rally featured Democratic politicians and other speakers. WCHS reported that gubernatorial candidate Earl Ray Tomblin who is facing an October 4th special election vote for governor was the headline speaker.
